In detail

A true seamless ring: the wire is one unbroken piece that is bent open and closed rather than hinged. Getting it back to a flush join by hand is difficult, which is why we mark it as not suited to a healing period — changing it usually means a trip to a piercer with ring-opening pliers. Wire is 1.0 mm ASTM F-136 titanium.

Looking after it

Have it opened and closed with proper ring pliers. Bending it by hand will leave a gap at the join.
