In detail

The part that sits inside the piercing is a straight 0.8 mm titanium shaft, 8 mm long, finished to ASTM F-136 implant-grade specification. The screw-back threads onto the post rather than gripping it by friction, so it stays put without being pushed tight against the back of the lobe. At 0.4 g per piece there is almost no downward pull on the lobe.

Looking after it

Wipe the post and the ball with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Unscrew the back fully rather than pulling it off.

    Bought these because the listing actually said 0.8 mm. My other studs are 0.9 and I could never work out why one pair went in easily and the other did not. Now I know.
